Peter Arnold joins LBP AM, a leading European asset manager with EUR 72 bln, to strengthen its private assets platform

LBP AM, the third-party Asset Manager for France’s major public financial group      (CDC1 , La Poste groupe, CNP Assurances and La Banque Postale) announces the appointment of Peter Arnold as Head of its European private assets Platform. 

LBP AM European private assets platform manages EUR 9.5bln in AUM2, investing across Corporate Private Debt, Infrastructure Debt and Real Estate Debt. LBP AM has been a leader in implementing sustainability and impact into its investment philosophy and portfolio construction for its European private debt strategies. The European private assets platform has invested over EUR 8bln in Private debt with a strong performance track record going back to its inception in 2012. 

Peter Arnold will report directly to Emmanuelle Mourey LPB AM’s Chair of the management board and will be responsible for expanding the investment capabilities, widening the product offering and accelerating the pan-European development of the platform.

Peter Arnold has more than 30 years' experience in the banking and asset management sector, where he has held various management positions, notably in business development, marketing and fundraising. At Schroders, Peter played a key role in the development of the “Schroders Capital” platform, dedicated to unlisted assets. Previously, Peter spent 19 years at Citigroup, initially in the Multi Asset Solutions team, before creating and leading the Private Funds Group business from 2009 to 2019. Peter began his career in sales at JP Morgan, Société Générale and UBS.
