PRI 2026 - human Rights

LBP AM has won a 2026 PRI Award in the “Human Rights” category for LBPAM SRI Human Rights, a distinction awarded by the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). This recognition comes as LBP AM celebrates the 25th anniversary of this SICAV dedicated to defending human rights, created in partnership with the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH).

International recognition

This prestigious award recognises actors who distinguish themselves through the excellence of their actions in respecting and promoting human rights, in line with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.

This international distinction acknowledges the pioneering approach taken by LBPAM SRI Human Rights since its inception in 2001, integrating human rights issues into the core of its investment process. The SICAV stood out among 146 submissions from 32 countries during a ceremony held as part of Climate Week on 21 September.

This recognition honours more than 20 years of commitment and innovation by LBP AM in responsible investment.

A pioneering commitment to human rights

The result of collaborative development with La Poste and the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH), LBPAM SRI Human Rights has been marketed since its inception by La Banque Postale, driven by a desire to promote responsible savings among its clients. This SICAV offers investors – both retail and institutional – the opportunity to reconcile financial objectives with ethical aspirations. Its model is based notably on a revenue-sharing mechanism benefiting the FIDH, thereby helping fund its actions to defend human rights worldwide.

Methodology based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights

The SICAV’s investment universe is aligned with the founding principles of the FIDH and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Its methodology aims to assess governments and companies in terms of their practices with respect to fundamental freedoms, equality, working conditions and the protection of social rights. At the same time, certain sectors are excluded, including the arms industry and private prisons.

“Receiving this distinction on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of LBPAM SRI Human Rights, an SRI and Finansol-certified fund, is a source of immense pride for our teams. The award honours us and recognises our committed approach as well as the strength of our partnership with the FIDH,” said Rozenn Le Caïnec, Co-Head of Multi-Asset and Absolute Performance at LBP AM.

“This award honours a fund that La Banque Postale has supported for 25 years and offers to all its clients, both in post offices and online. It also recognises the day-to-day work of our advisors, who are the primary ambassadors of our ESG commitment. As clients do not all share the same sensitivity to environmental, social or governance issues, every savings solution at La Banque Postale is classified into three levels of commitment, enabling each client to choose a savings option aligned with their convictions. This international distinction validates this strategy and reinforces La Banque Postale’s role in making responsible savings accessible to all, in line with our mission-driven corporate objectives,” said Mimouna Boutchich, Head of Savings and Insurance Products at La Banque Postale.

“Respect for human rights must be a core value of all economic activity. We find it meaningful to work alongside LBP AM to demonstrate that sustainable finance has a role to play in turning this ambitious vision into a reality for economic actors,” said Eléonore Morel, CEO of the FIDH.
