LBP AM continues to strengthen its ESG expertise across all asset classes with the appointments of Émilie Goirand, as Head of ESG Corporate Debt and Unlisted Solutions, and Nicolas Bénéton, CFA, as an ESG Investment Specialist.
Émilie Goirand coordinates ESG analysis and implementation for private corporate debt and unlisted multi-management strategies, working closely with the private assets platform teams at LBP AM European Private Markets. She leads ESG due diligence and is also responsible for supporting the structuring and promotion of new underlying strategies and methodologies, developing ESG monitoring and dialogue with counterparties, and representing the Group’s expertise in these asset classes within industry-wide initiatives. Émilie Goirand reports to Héléna Charrier, Head of SRI Solutions at LBP AM.
In coordination with the SRI Solutions team, Nicolas Bénéton, CFA, brings his expertise to the business development teams, offering our clients bespoke support in meeting their growing sustainability needs. In particular, he will contribute to the development and promotion of new multi-investor and dedicated ESG strategies across all asset classes. Nicolas Bénéton reports to both Héléna Charrier and Mathilde Sauvé.

Émilie Goirand has over 10 years' experience in private markets. She began her career in 2016 at Rothschild & Co within the Five Arrows division, where she was involved in private equity and private debt transactions, covering analysis, structuring and investment monitoring. In 2018, she joined Axa IM as a credit analyst for Leveraged Loans & Private Debt strategies, while also leading ESG integration projects. From 2022, she served as Chief Sustainability Officer at MV Credit in Paris and London, designing and implementing ESG policies, performance indicators and analytical frameworks, contributing notably to the achievement of top-quartile UNPRI scores. A graduate of the Magistère Banque Finance Assurance from Paris Dauphine University, Émilie Goirand is certified as a “Sustainable Transformation Strategist” by École Polytechnique and holds CFA ESG Investing certification.
Nicolas Bénéton has over 20 years’ experience in the asset management industry. He began his career in 2004 at BNP Paribas Securities Services as a Performance Analyst. From 2008 to 2010, he worked at Fitch Ratings as a Fund & Asset Manager Analyst, before joining Cedrus Partners in 2011 as a Senior Fund Analyst. From 2015, he worked at Robeco, first as a Sustainable Investment Specialist and then as a Senior Client Portfolio Manager. Nicolas Bénéton is a graduate of Paris II Panthéon-Assas University and holds both CFA and CFA ESG Investing certifications.
